A Little History

In 1998 Andy Collver along with his father James planted their first four acres of grapes after attending a presentation by the Department of Agriculture on alternative crops. Finding the soil in the rolling hills of the midwest perfect for growing grapes, they continually expanded the vineyard to its present size of 21 acres.

As Andy honed his skills in growing high quality grapes he found a demand within the industry for his expertise, and Midwest Vineyard Services was born.

Andy and his wife, Dawn, have managed vineyards, built new vineyards, helped rescue damaged vineyards, and understand all aspects of growing a wide variety of healthy grapes. Since the company’s inception they have advised, installed, and/or maintained over 30 vineyards and are proud of their award winning grapes.
